A: Taking a tour is the best way to learn about a city. If you are new to town, looking to move here or just looking for things to do in Guelph, a tour can be a fantastic way to explore your urban environment and learn about its historical origins.

Q: Which tour can I take to learn more about Guelph historical figures like John McCrae and John Galt and local attractions and historic landmarks such as the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate and the Market Square?
A: We recommend taking our Hidden Burial Ground tour or partaking in our Haunted Pub Crawl®. 

Q: Does the Guelph Correctional Centre Historical grounds tour go inside the jail?
A: No. Our GCC grounds tour covers the grounds (outside) only.  Access to the buildings is strictly prohibited. 

Q:  How scary are your tours?
A: We offer a wide range of tours ranging from:
•    Not scary at all, unless you don’t like history (i.e. Guelph Correctional Centre Grounds, Hidden Burial Grounds Tour) 
•    Kinda scary, if ghost stories frighten you (i.e. Haunted Pub Crawl®)
•    Moderately- Very Scary paranormal investigations or ghost hunts, depending on how much real ghosts freak you out. 

Q: Are kids allowed on the ghost hunts and paranormal investigations?
A: Yes! Our only restriction is that children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use our equipment. 

Q: Do you offer discounts for children?
A: No. Due to the very limited spaces available on our tours, we do not offer free or discounted rates for children.

Q: Do you offer private tours?

A: Yes! We offer private tours for all occasions. Visit our Private Tours page for more information.

Q: Do you sell gift certificates and do they expire?

A: Yes we do, and no , they do not expire! We offer e-gift certificates that can be fully customized and even sent on a specific date of your choosing! Gift certificates can be purchased here. 

Q: What is a Haunted Pub Crawl®?

Q: Are Guelph Urbex tours wheelchair accessible?
A: Many of our tour locations are outdoors or in historical buildings that have uneven ground, many steps and are not wheelchair accessible. Please refer to individual tour descriptions for details.  If you require any other assistance, please email us before you book a tour. 

Q: Does Guelph Urbex accommodate special needs?
A: We do our best to accommodate everyone. If you have a special needs request, please contact us before you book a tour so we can do our best to arrange the most positive experience for you.

Q: Do you offer discounts to University of Guelph students?
